: God, I couldn't STAND that guy. I, too, would pretty much qualify myself as an ex-wrestling fan, and it only lasted from 1998-2000 (not including that period in the 80's where everyone was a wrestling fan). I've got friends who are WWF fans, and don't know anything about the WCW wrestlers that are infiltrating their league, so I brought over some old stuff for them to watch. And there was that pain in the butt announcer - Madden? - getting chained to Scott Hall's contract, and spouting out pop-culture catchphrases like it was going to save his career. Snoochie-boochies and fatty-boom-batty, indeed.
: Still, it got an interesting reaction out of us, last night! We turned to each other to make sure we weren't going crazy, then turned to the person holding the remote and said, "Go back!"

: Jill

Ironic isn't it? I remember watching an episode of Nitro and there was a match involving Hugh Morrus. He was doing his finishing move, a moonsault from the top rope called the No Laughing Matter, when out from Mark Madden's mouth came the words "Fly, fatass, fly!!" With I though was funny, not just because it was a Jay reference, but if you put Hugh Morrus and Mark Madden beside each other, you could clearly see who the fatass was.

C.S., tired of typing Uncle Cephus
