seriously, i thought the movie was excellent...but it was pretty disturbing and i really don't see myself subjecting my...self...to it again. I thought Marlon was very impressive. Always good to see Jennifer Connelly (well, maybe not *always*).
the thing that struck me most (having not seen pi yet) was how Aronofsky is almost the antithesis of kevin when it comes to film making. i mean there was minimal dialogue in Requiem and the storytelling relied far more on visuals. the depiction of consumption throughout the film in particular was cool - and very different from the kind of things kevin does (not that that matters, but just trying to get it on topic.)
looking forward to checking out pi.
