You're right here, I agree you have to have a story with the art. All I'm saying is that *initially* it is the art that sells the book. Case in point, only because Pseudo brought him up, I bought the book Coven for one reason only, Ian Churchill... in my opinion he's one of the best artists out there (while Pseudo finds his art shit... heh-heh), but I stayed with the book because I found the story interesting.

A book out now that I can't get into b/c of the art, even though I've been told the writing is phenomenol is X-Force, only b/c I find Alldred's work childish. Now, I know many people love his work, but hey, I don't, we each have our opinions. So suffice to say, you *must* have both, but I think it is the art that is going to initially catch your eye.

And that was Liefeld's gift.
