I know that reading books is a bit out of fashion, but Mr. Berton's "suprise" ending is just a poorly crafted vision inspired by the original book by Pierre Boulle.
Too bad they didn't give the project to Mr. Smith.
Perhaps HE could have given this lacklustre effort, a soul.
