Sorry for bothering you guys if you've already answered questions like this before... but, do you recommend going to film school in order to make a film, or do you think one can read up on material or just jump into the bandwagon and start from scratch and nothing? As a debut film, do you recommend writing it as well as directing it? Or get a friend's good screenplay and direct it?
