: Then again, Burton now deserves to be in the Clerks Animated series...

: "Planet of the Apes? What the hell were you thinking? I want my eight bucks back."

While Planet of the Apes was no award winning film, it gave me exactly what it promised : monkeys and violence. I prefer to have to think a little in movies, but sometimes you can go without it. Plus I had seen Jurassic Park 3 earlier in the day and that is so much worse. How can so few people die in a Jurassic Park movie? It was just amazing. I'm so scared because I am wishing they made more movies like Twister and Independance Day these days. While those movies were bad, they are classics in comparison to some of the crap out right now (Tomb Raider? Pearl Harbor?). Oh well, crap reigns. Thankfully Rush Hour 2 came out and restored my hope in big dumb movies. It was funny and had Jackie Chan beating people. God bless Jackie Chan. As he said, "Jackie Chan is always okay!"
