I was watching the long original deleted intro to Mallrats, and noticed that through the entire balcony/telescope scene the Built to Spill song Big Dipper is playing.

I'm a big fan of Built to Spill, and I know it didn't make it onto the soundtrack, I was just wondering how you came about this track, since the band wasn't the most well-known at that time (not that they are even now).

Is someone involved with the flick a BTS fan? Just curious.
