Ok, so you both made an ape out of Lincoln....but do you really think he stole from Kevin? If you have seen any of the Apes sequels you know that some of them take place in the 20th century on Earth, and it seems very funny and fitting that a statue of lincoln is replaced with an Ape head, this scene is more of an homage to the Statue of Liberty scene, than a theft from Kevin..The plot centers around "slavery" and Lincoln was the great emancipator, so it seems fitting that in a scewed universe that Thade would be represented as a great leader of the past. Burton is one of the most gifted and creative people around, but that does not mean he didn't steal it, that is not a logical conclusion, but based on his past work he does get the benefit of the doubt..

So all of you who follow Kevin around like sheep can go toss your copy of Ed Wood on the trash heap with all your magnolia posters and copies of Election....Kevin has every right to feel maybe he was "borrowed from" I would question it to, but if you look at the larger picture, the Lincoln idea was unique enough to accuse theft....but as the cliche goes great minds think alike!!!
