I finally seen the TV spots tonight for J&SBSB, and am curious:
I noticed that Dimension is now the company putting it out. Has it always been Dimension? I could have sworn it was Miramax. I know that both are owned by the same company (the mouse ears), but was this a last-minute decision, or right from the start?
I know Weinstein was always a big supporter, going as far as greenlighting the cameo in Scream 3, but was this always a Dimension picture?
Come to think of it, Dimension hasn't lost monrey this year at all, with Spy Kids being re-released (with uncut footage) right after its first run(!), and Scary Movie 2 bringing in 75 million. Dracula 2000 broke even last year, and was one of the best horror movies the company has released since Phantoms (jk).
In all seriousness, I think Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back will be one of the highest grossing movies Dimension has seen in a looooong time. That is, until Spy Kids 2: Island Of Lost Dreams comes out.
And where the hell is Impostor? That movie starring Gary Sinise, that we've seen a commercial for when Reindeer Games was in theaters?
