Dawn of the Dead remake

Kevin(or whoever else might be interested),

This is my first post here. I wanted to start off by saying how much I enjoy the site and your work in general. I really enjoy independent films and their creators ingenuity.
I am also a big fan of George Romero. I don't know what you think of his work, but I was just curious as to what you thought of this new remake of his classic Dawn of the Dead in the works? I personally think it's a terrible idea, especially that he will not be involved at all. What would your take be if someone remade something you had created without your input? Just wondering. Thanks for the time...
