I'm new here as well. How does this place "work"? Much too strong a word. Your typical online anarchy:
60% - in-joke responses you'll never understand
20% - flamers showing their ass
10% - pleas for civility that go unheeded
5% - newbie questions that go unanswered
4% - 'red' responses
1% - 'red' responses with useful information.
