Whoa, that guy is right. You are, indeed, awesome.
That wouldn't happen to be the same Betty Thomas, who was on Hill Street Blues, and is now a director, is she?
I wish you could tell us some stories of what went on behind the scenes on the show, but I wouldn't want you getting in any trouble :)
Again, it's great to have you here. You're most certainly a welcome addition to the View Askew board.
PS: Did you watch the Dogma DVD yet? In the commentary, Ben says that he never noticed your scene behind him, where you're running around with the booze, before.
: And he was also a member of The Zuchinni Brothers, which consisted of crew
: members as inspired in their comedy as he. We were in (I must whisper now:)
: an improv class in L.A. together taught by Betty Thomas (who was from
: Chicago but went by "Broadway Betty"). The real Michael Keaton is known
: only to, say, Nicky Tallo our floor manager. His real name (Douglas) was
: already "taken" (By Kirk's son) so he chose a mighty one. I'm glad to be
: welcomed here, and hoped there wasn't an age limit...thanks, FXguy
