I've been a Kevin Smith fan since clerks first arrived at the small
video store I used to work at. But enough about that. "Jay and Silent Bob
Strike Back" totally exceeded all expectations. The film was a great experience. It is the magnum opus of the View Askew films, and was an
excellent way to close the series. I realize these are only small words
from one fan, but the sneak preview was sold out at the theatre I saw
it at, and the audience reaction was fantastic. I don't honestly think anyone in the theatre wasn't enjoying themselves tremendously. I realize that many critics will refuse to give a campy comedy anything but snide remarks, but Kevin Smith truly did his fans justice. The cameos were excellent, and the fact that everyone in the movie let their gaurd down and allowed themselves to be portrayed in a way that was far from glamorous just added to the fun of the whole movie. Kevin has commented several times that the movie was for the fans, and I would just like to say, as a fan, Thanks Kevin.
