After watching Reel Comedy and the Half-Baked segues, I was wondering what all of you thought of VA movies being consdered "stoner comedies." That seems to be how Kevin is pimping the new movie through comedy central. I don't think this description fits at all. Drugs seem to be a very tiny part of the VA movies. Also, Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Dogma spoke to me. They had a message. To me they were more than a pointless throw-away comedy. I was wondering what others thought about pigeon-holing Kevin's movies into this lackluster genre.
Also, in a completely non-sequiter issue: Have there been any instances of people stealing employee parking signs from Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash? A friend of my girlfriend claims he drove from Chicago to Red Bank just to visit the stash, but it was closed. He wanted a souvenir, so he helped himself to a parking sign.
