Haha.. man.. in a packed theater I think there were 3 of us that even caught that reference. Damn funny.
I dug the film. To be honest I think it was the worst of the VA series but that's not much of an insult to the film (I kinda hold all of the VA films to a very very high standard). It's like saying Jedi is the worst Star Wars movie (out of the original trilogy that is), sure it's the worst out of those three.. but a damn fine film. By far the best movie this summer and a nice ending to the VA saga. Coulda done without some of the cliche` peices of satire (thank god Jay didn't dodge any bullets and Silent Bob didn't end up in the woods with a witch after him) but if that's gonna pull in a broader audience and give the flick more play at the theater then great. I really hope this one kills it at the box office. Went tonight with my girlfriend and I know I'm gonna go again this weekend with a bunch of cats just to show support.
