well i just saw the cameo fest known as 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.'
i am in Utah, where part of the movie takes place, so that was kind of cool. but about the movie! well its funny. and its certainly a good sequal flick. one of a kind i must say, as it is a sequal to a bunch of shows at once,with a sequal within the sequal to a movie that it isnt trying to be a sequal to, (GWH) so its kind of a multiple sequal.
my favorite part was when silent bob screams at jay. hilarious. well done kevin.
being a huge fan of the previous flicks, i was dang excited to see characters of old pop up on screen in full character.
kevins movies are all about buddies i think, Randal and Dante, Brodie and Crybaby (jermey london) Holden and Banky, Bartleby and Loki, and of course, Jay and Silent Bob.
As a comic book creator myself (aspiring, http://www.liquidsunset.homestead.com/index.html shamless plug, much like the jay and silent bob secret stash plugs littered thruout the commentary on the new Dogma release) anyhow, as i was saying, as a comic book creator myself, i think it is impossible for me not to like a movie with a guy in a daredevil costume rolling around in the backround. so basically i loved the show. thats my big critique, but while im gabbing about on this board, i thot maybe i would ask what anyone else who may have caught a sneak thought.
oh and i also wanted to make a point to Kev, about how well the visuals were done. I hear him talking about his visual lackings, and then i go see this show, which has a lot of great visual stuff in it (love love love the sound guage birth control case flying over the beams, and the exploding van)great job.
anyhow, im all tired right now and havent been able to get online till jsut now, so some of my excitement residue from just seeing the new flick has worn off, but still, i liked it, i liked it as a show not to be taken all seriously as i am sure some people out there are going to try and make it, its not a chasing amy, its a comedy thru and thru, and a great one at that. nooch.
