It sounds like the print for that reel may have been spooled wrong by the lab, or whoever assembled the print made a mistake and flopped the reel over the wrong way (in which case, it would be the theater's fault).

: For some reason... the print got screwed up about 40 minutes into the film.... i know it wasnt the projection people.. i dont know how they can make a print be upside down and have the audio play backwards even though the movie is going forwards.
