While Kevin may have said that Banky was not gay that doesn't mean that he didn't change his mind. If you need examples of this see the end credits of Dogma where it says the next film will be CLERKS 2: HARDLY CLERKIN'. While it has been established that Hooper gives Banky more shit than a bran muffin gives a fat man, there was still doubt left in my mind from the previous exchange between Banky and Wilenholly. Not the part where he says that he is not gay but right after that he says something to make you think otherwise.

And Ed Norton's character in Fight Club is not named Jack. We will never know what it is.
