I stayed until the final credits at a screening two weeks ago and this scene was not in that version. It sounds like a nice touch though.
: at the very end of the credits, where you might expect to see "Jay and Silent Bob will return in:" it says Jay and Silent Bob have left the building, and then God (Alanis Morisette) comes on screen in Heaven and closes a book that says "Askewniverse" and walks away.
