We're unsure if Dante's gotten any since Clerks in the AskewNiverse (god knows O'Halloran has...), so 12 is considered correct for now.

Six players on two teams, all fighting, so 12 is the number of folks in the fight.

And yes, according to Rufus "Know him? Hell, n**** still owes me twelve bucks!"
