: BTW, regarding the scene with the father in the truck- that scene is meant to be "cringe inducing" but not for the reasons you site. I appreciate that it didn't work for you, but that's the first criticism of that scene that I've heard, and that scene is based on a real incident that I witnessed of a friend of mine being berated by his father right in front of me.
I like the idea of the scene, and I like how it was written. But I was just waiting for the father to go ballistic, like Oldman in The Professional (yes, I took that comment from the Dogma DVD commentary). I think it could've been a horribly affecting cringe-producing-in-a-good-way scene. But..oh well.
Good job, still yet.
By the way, how's Autograph coming along?
