Ok so I love all Kevin Smith movies ever made, they are all just sooo wonderful (especially Clerks), but when I heard that he was making ONE LAST SILENT BOB and JAY film I almost died. I was so distraught that Kevin Smith would no longer be spouting truthful and sometimes downright shocking quotes to his hetero life-mate Jay. Like any die-hard fan, I went to the sneak preview last week and to say I couldn't wait for today to finally arrive is an understatement. This movie, this swan song, the quint of the quintology of the Jersey Chronicles, is quite possibly, if not definitely the greatest ending to a series ever!!! I don't think I stopped laughing once. The only part that was hard for me to swallow(which wasn't really hard but semi-aweing) was seeing Dante and Randal in color. I was so used to them being in B&W that I had to stop and think for a minute, whoa, remember they were in color in Clerks too you just didn't see it. So to make a long review/ personal statement short, hooray for Kevin Smith and all his ViewAskewiness. It's corny and sappy, but without your wit and wisdom Mr. Smith, I think my world would be somewhat lacking because your movies are an outlet for me to feel that my outllok on the world is just that little less jaded. So thank you and may your true voice be with you always.
