Being that this is my first post on the famous View Askew WWWBoard, I want to say how great I think the Jersey collection of films are, and that I really respect and admire Kevin Smith and his work. Anyway, I just saw the new flick and I enjoyed it, unfortunately I personally thought it could of been better. I know it really means a lot coming from a 19 year old kid like myself, and I know that everyone in the company takes all these posts with a grain of salt. However, there were a few things I really did not get. For example, why did Jason Lee not argue more? It may just be me but he may be one of the funniest arguers of our time, and with him playing two parts, that gives you double the chance. It could have also been scripted to have Jason's two characters fight with each other, like a parent trap scenario, which I think could of been laugh out loud funny. And another point came up with Chris Rock calling Lee a tracer, which was a total set up for one of the greatest lines in all of the Jersey Collection, "your mom's a tracer", and just have the racist thing go farther with the black angle of mom jokes, but he just walks away? Never in all of Chasing Amy did Lee just walk away from an argument...that I found peculiar, when he did in this case. I am going to end my criticism now, because I feel like one of those retard kids that were made fun through the entire film. Well I am interested to see if anyone takes...eh...interest in my post.
