So Kevin, like he's done a dozen times already, explained his comments were made in a joking tone and manner. That doesn't translate to the written word, apparently.
Then Burton says he doesn't read comics, which is a lie, and that he'd never read anything by Kevin Smith, which is also, more likely than not, a lie.
It was said out of anger.
And Kevin's like "...which explains BATMAN." and it was pretty funny. He's not worrying about it anymore. Others are pulling this all out of him. And he's a sport, I guess.
He's not sitting down in the chair and going "Well, I'm fine Jay. But Tim Burton ripped me off, and I'm a bit miffed."
