1. Are you familiar with the movie "Slap Shot"? I'm asking this not
only because "Slap Shot" is about your favorite sport (hockey, natch)
but the dialogue and overall atmosphere of this flick remind me of your
work. And did you know they're making a sequel to it?
2. Have you ever seen the movie "Repo Man"? If so, what's your opinion
of it?
3. Do you like the Silver Surfer? And if you do, is it so much that
you'd want to write his comic?
4. Are you familiar with any of the following indie comics: Cerebus,
Strangehaven, Omaha the Cat Dancer, A Distant Soil, Stray Bullets,
Astronauts in Trouble, Channel Zero, Too Much Coffee Man, Johnny the
Homicidal Maniac, Creed?
5. As a Run DMC fanatic, were you aware that Darryl McDaniel (alias
DMC) has just published his autobiography, "King of Rock"?
6. When "Mallrats" tanked at the box office, did you ever worry that
your film career might be over?
7. When you were shooting "Clerks", did you have anyone to serve in the
capacity of assistant director? If not, during the Silent Bob scenes
did you find it tricky to direct and act at the same time? (The reason
I'm asking *this* is because like many denizens of this board, I'm an
aspiring filmmaker and lately I've been debating the pros and cons of
acting in my own movie. If ever manage to get one made, that is.)
