This is my first post on this website. I have long been a fan of Kevin Smith's and a fan of all the work he has done. Way back when Clerks was a new release I was into his stuff. I'm sure he's never in here to reply but oh well.
I just love how everyone rips on Clerks as begin a bad movie. Fact is it is a great movie. The more and more I watch it the more things you find that are hilareous. You don't have to watch the main characters to get a laugh. It was also a good break from the comedies of the time, I mean every movie was made with the same ingredients and this one was different from all the rest.
Guess I don't have much to say at this point just wanted to leave something because I just got to the website. Kevin, I watched the thing on IFC, you know where you guys did commentary on Clerks while it was going. Its was hilareous, was mewes really passed or was that an act? I also like what you said in one of your magazine interviews about getting your films ripped on by someone and then they just use their user name and not their real name. Thats why I used my real name, although I don't have anything bad to say.
I also heard that this is the last J&SB film, is that true? Hope you keep the good films coming, thanks.
