well i am not Kevin or anyone in the business but you have to ask yourself something
WHY would you make a movie or tell a story
I have been working (and reworking) on a story.
It started out as a superhero type comic story but i transformered it and now is a drastically different story
I write it because that is what the story dictates to me
never write for any reason but that you are inspired to write - except if you are doing it as a job to make money that someone hired you to do.
If you are inspired to do it then write it regardless of the idea.
as far as making a regular movie to get out in public that would be a more difficult task with THAT concept since you are dealing with copyright and trademarked material. That means if you want to use Wonderwoman or Green Lantern in a story and such you have to get the permission and pay lots of money
But besides that you should just go ahead and write the story that inspires you - regardless if OTHERS think it is a good or bad idea.
just remember - someone had the idea and actually wrote "Last Action Hero"
