Kevin,
I am sorry to hear that the box office was not what you wanted it to be. But I think we have to look at the bigger picture here. I've been a very loyal fan and staunch defender of View Askew over the past couple years and this movie is a vindication for me. I would talk on end about the exploits of Jay and Silent Bob and of all the characters that reside within the Askewniverse to my friends but to no avail. When this movie came out I was finally able to show my friends what I had been talking about. Now all of them are spouting Askew references and saying "nooch" and "bong" and the end of just about every sentence. I love that this movie has opened up so many people to the wonerful world of Askew and taht so many people can share in all of the fun that I've had.
On a more personal note and call me an emotionaly bastard if you will but I think the whole reason to go to this movie is the final scene with Moris Day and the Time. Although the scene is in and of itself very funny the best part is when Jay and Silent Bob dance on stage. The look on your face is amazing. I as well as everyone in that theater could tell that you were having the time of your life. There is a smile on your face that can only be worn by a man that has seen his lifes wishes come to fruition. Congratulations Kevin, you told the stories you wanted to tell, worked with the people you wanted to work with, and refused to let the prattle of small minded fools stop you from becoming that which you wanted to be. Congratulations.
