Kevin,
I've been a fan of your work since shortly after "Chasing Amy" was released on video. Just by seeing the TV spots for it, I could tell that it was a movie that I'd really want to see. I was not disappointed by it in the least. After "Amy", I decided to do my homework, and rent the (at that time) other 2 films in "The Jersey Trilogy". After watching them, I became a HUGE fan and couldn't wait to see what you'd do next. Hell, I even thought the "Clerks" cartoon was a riot. Dogma, was the kind of movie that made me laugh my ass off, and still make me think about things in a way that only the most insightful dramas can. After seeing "...Strike Back", I can only say THANK YOU!! You made a movie almost entirely for your fans. Only the fans who have seen EVERYTHING, would be able to catch all of the bits of business in there. My personal fave, is the bit in front of the other convience store--VERY Laurel & Hardy.
This movie may never win an Academy Award, but who really gives a fuck. You've done great work (even parts of "Mallrats"), and as I fan, all I can say again is Thank You
(sorry the post is so long gang--I've never posted here before, and I had a lot to say)
