: You are right. But I think we as Christians sort of come to grips with
the fact that we sin all the time and some sins just ain't goin away,
not in this lifetime (for me it's masturbation) and we must recognize
that it is not acting sin free which saves us, it's the belief that those
sins are wiped away by the cross, if only we let him take them, and
believe that he does.
: Also- somewhere in Proverbs it says that no man can control his
tongue. That's the bible baby- NO MAN, which includes you.

I can't find the verse you're referring to. I am by no means trying to say
that I am devoid of sin. The Bible does say that ALL have sinned, and
believe me, I've done my share that I'm ashamed of. Man can TRY to
control his tongue. It's not impossible with God's help. Oh, wait -- I
found the verse I think you're referring to:
James 3:8-12 "No man can tame the tongue. The tongue runs wild,
a wanton killer. With our tongues we bless God our Father; with the
same tongues we curse the very men an women he made in his
image. Curses and blessing out of the same mouth! My friends, this
can't go on. "
Anyway, I'm no saint, but that's no excuse to live a life of sin. I'm
always endeavoring to improve myself. And thanks for not calling me
an idiot or worse.
