is he really smoking?

In Clerks, Mall Rats and Dogma it looks like Silent Bob gets the smoke from his cigarette in his mouth and just blows it out, hence never really inhaleing. In J&SBSB it looks like he is definately inhaling. Was this put in intentionally?
