JSBSB a box office failure? No friggin' way

At first I thought that JSBSB's opening kinda sucked, but I figured out that was probably because every other anticipated movie that was released lately broke tons of box office record. But if you look at the rest of the summer, an 11 million dollar opening ain't half bad. The following movies during the summer also opened in the low teens or under. Some of which have budgets many times bigger than JSBSBs and some have really huge stars.

Evolution
Baby Boy
Crazy/Beautiful
Pootie Tang
Kiss of the Dragon
Final Fantasy
Original Sin
Osmosis Jones
The Others
American Outlaws
Captain Corelli's Mandolin
Rat Race

Curse of the Jade Scorpion
Ghosts of Mars
