Well I can speak safely for 6 people in Peoria, Illinois. We loved the flick and think it was the perfect way to send Jay and Silent Bob on their way. Thanks for making it and thanks for making us laugh.
You know, I think that people have been really disappointed in the way flicks have turned out this summer. I mean, look at all of these big blockbuster movies that were supposed to be great that ended up being shit. I'm a Burton fan and POTA was flat out horrible. I didn't bother with most of the other tripe like Tomb Raider, Swordfish, and what ever other were out there. Hell, I don't even remember half the flicks that came out this summer because it was so weak. I think maybe that the movie-going public feels that they've been burned one too many times and just didn't have it in them to put money down on flick that they didn't know much about. Frankly, I spent more time watching DVD's than heading to the theater and I'm glad that I did. That being said, my wife and I saw it twice and loved it. You'll be getting my ticket stubs shortly. ;) Your flick rates #1 in my book for the summer.
Cheers,
Wes
