I keep hearing people say, "What's Jason Mewes going to do now? He can't really play anything else, can he?"

Ok, sure, everything we know about Jay leads one to believe that he pretty much just plays himself in Kevin's movies. Fine. But I'm not convinced that's all there is to him. I mean, the Planet of the Apes sequence alone gives a subtle glimpse of the raw emotional power that's lurking behind that mop of hair. And can we say the words Jason-Mewes-romantic-lead in the same sentence? I think we can. I'm just saying that if Jay doesn't decide to take his money and retreat to his own Tahitian island right next to Brando's, I'll be eagerly awaiting the first Jason Mewes/Juliette Binoche psycho-sexual-thriller.

By the way, Kevin, thank you for consistently making films that betray a sincere love and commitment to the magic of film.
