When Mallrats came out J&SBSB was not even a twinkle in Kevin's eye.
Kevin has explained the Suzanne joke for Mallrats as something to the effect of "all this movie was missing was an oranatang(sp?)"
Her story was further told in the comic series that took place between Amy and Dogma.
However most of book 3 of 4 from the series was re-used in J&SBSB, which takes place sometime after Amy.
The problem is the Comics fill the whole gap between Amy and Dogma.
Thus chronology gets screwed. The moral of the story is just enjoy, and don't think too hard. Because short of a "Crisis on the Infinate ViewAskeverses", they is what they is.
