I have gathered that J&SBSB was a big going away party, it did lack the thick social satire that some of the other movies possesed but it had something, It had that something that we all experience when someone we love is leaving, the sense of WHO GIVES A SHIT LETS JUST HAVE FUN and thats what J&SBSB was. Its like a serious relationship that must end due to a relocation of one of the parties, all inhibitions and seriousness goes out the window and fun fun fun ensues. There was a lack of smartness to the movie because it is centered around two bumbling idiots who until now played minor roles, even in Dogma. The movie had a bitter sweet quality, and I would be lying if i said that the frozen image of jay and bobs smiling faces at the end almost made me cry as it will every time i see the flick. Bravo kevin you threw a hell of a party I can't wait to see what ventures you take on next.
