Dude, the movie was a real live cartoon! Its main purpose was to make people laugh. Just take it for what it is. You are looking for meaning in a Looney Toon or a Marx brothers movie. Just enjoy the crazy random shit that happens. It's great.
: i guess i missed the point....i mean i love all the other films, and i wanted to like this one too... all the sub references were cool but it seemed that the movie veered of course from time to time. im mixed on this one... all the actors and actresses seemed to do a good job.... and kevin's knack for directing was on the money...but i left feeling let down a little...mabey i psyched myself out for it before hand. mabey clerks part 2 would have been a better way to go
