I caught this link on Fark.com for CAP's review of J&SBSB and it cracked me up (not that CAP's reviews don't normally..). For those who don't know, CAP is "ChildCare Action Project (CAP): Christian Analysis of American Culture." -Think of the most fervent Bible-thumper you know-the Ultimate Over-zealous Christian dogma-natzi. Now increase that about 400% and you have CAP. CAP will blast movies for their level of "offense to god" and "impudence."
They hated J&SBSB--big surprise, right? (they hate ALL movies, so don't worry about it.) Here's one of their zingers from J&SBSB: "at least 224 uses of the most foul of the foul words."
The Funniest part of the article is this:
"..This is a Miramax film. Miramax is a Disney company. Miramax is responsible for such films as Priest, Lie Down with Dogs, The Advocates, Clerks, Kids, and Pulp Fiction. Disney hired Kevin Smith to produce Dogma and Chasing Amy. Now do you understand why Disney seems to have no shame in stealing childhood from children? "
