i reread the summaries just to make sure i don't get a long list of replies screaming "SUMMARIES, YOU FUCKIN' NEWBIE!" but this question might still seem elementary. what was rickman's metatron purpose in the movie? i know he said he was "the voice of God" but why does God need a voice? i think i know the answer, but if i'm right, then something else is puzzling me.
