Given that partial information has been spread like so much fertilizer, I feel it time to plant the seeds of knowledge.

Cornell Cinema will be showing each one of the first four Jersey films in chronological order each weekend in September. Clerks will be shown at midnight this Friday, 9:45 Saturday in the Uris theater.

This is all in promotion for Smitty's upcoming speaking engagement Oct. 1st. Lest you get your fanboy knickers all in a twist, tickets go on sale Oct. 17th for Cornell students, Oct. 19th for the general public. They're highly reasonable -- $7 for students, $12 for others. Limit of two tickets per person. They're likely to sell out so if you know a Cornellian, bribe them by all means.

You need more information, show times, directions, where to purchase tickets, whatnot, come to mama. I got what you need. You can also find basically this same info, minus a few details, at the Cornell University Planning Board website (I'm too lazy for links, so shoot me).

Cornell Cinema is the atomic bomb, I have said it time and again, and I give them much credit for knowing what's what -- they're also scheduling the enhanced-version Star Wars trilogy this month. You can also see homoerotic classics by Godard, if that is your thing. Coincidence, you think? I pity the fool.

After all this fine research, I anticipate forgetting to buy tickets, because I got high. So pick me up one while you're at it, or you may see me outside the venue on Oct. 1st, wailing about the genius of Paul Thomas Anderson and why .
