That show hurt me, right in the tneder area of the soul.
I found it, quite by accident, in some channel-flippery-synchronicity, as I was talking about Jay and Silent Bob as I was a'flipping.. So naturally, I was delighted when I saw a panel with Kevin, Mewes, LUKE FREAKIN' SKYWALKER, and the very gracious and lovely Jen S. Smith.
That delight turned to revulsion and horror as the caterwauling harpie who hosts the show proceeded to shrilly shout out inanity after inanity, in a pitch and tone that managed to at once turn my stomach, and make my spine shiver like a junkie. Her every spoken (excuse me, SHOUTED) word was like a choir of demons dragging rust nails over dirty chalkboards.
And the show itself was so poorly constructed, and just awful, that not even Kevin's wit, Jay's slacker-charisma, Hamill's niceness, nor Jen's charm could save. I had to turn it off. How sad is that? How awful must a show be for a frothing uber-fan to have to click away in terror from?
