: This is all I have to say:
: If you do not have the most sincere thoughts on the subject at hand and are looking more for a few laughs and movie quotes than seriously discussing todays horrible events, I say that you do not post on this board for the next few hours.
: This is one of the most disturbing times that we, as a human race, have ever witnessed. So if you can't comment on this without using 'buzz' words and dry sarcasm, I'd ask you not to for a while. Serioulsy.
: Thanks
: -John
: PS I know this board was never meant for the subject being discussed on it, but todays tragedy is far, far more important than bitching about not getting your Stash orders on time or asking what is the best line that Jay ever said.
: The reason this board is being used like this is because this board is almost like a family, more so than a community. This issue effects people on this board. So that is why there are so many 'off-topic' topics.
: Thanks for reading.
I couldn't have said these words more if I actually copied them and pasted them on the screen. We are too concerned with, "Oh Boo-hoo I can't get my Wolverine special edition trading cards" or "Oh man, now Kevin won't be signing those tickets in the stash and I'll just die if I can't get my tickets signed by him soon" posts. Most of the peeps on this board make me sick to the bone asking stupid meaningless questions and then get upset when we don't ALL start posting meaningless questions. And then some say stupid things like this is great and we should be happy we're living in a time like this. We shouldn't be. We should be sad. Grant it, I hope that soon we can all go back to, "Hey I just saw A Better Place and I want to kiss Vincent's Ass" posts, but until this passes over get used to it taking up all the boards time. Peace, Jon.
