I think what he was saying is that... you're over-reacting a little bit.
Critics are paid to write eye-popping sensationalist stuff, especially in competitive markets, one.
Everyone has the right to their own opinion, misinformed or not, two.
The general jist of the cut opening to Chasing Amy, that no matter what they say Kevin's making a lot more money than they are, is a lot more famous than they are, and is pleasing a lot more people than they are, three.
You needn't be so vitriol-filled about it, is all.
They're wrong-minded critics, that's all.
