i used to make fun of those kids in high school, the junior firefighters and such. they were the losers who had no future in comparison to my great big collegiate gig i had going on. now who's the loser sitting here on-line with no way to assist and nothing to contribute but prayer and sympathy. in years since i've grown up a bit and befriended some of these people and i'd like to say, they are well trained and even better prepared to help the victims of this gross atrocity. holy fuck i feel old. tomorrow is my 26th, and i feel about eighty years old right now.
