My faith in humanity at the moment leads me to believe that there will be more than a few very ignorant and violent acts perpetrated in retaliation on ethnic groups by private citizens. No, I don't think it'll reach the level in the United States where internment camps will be used, such as during World War II after the Pearl Harbor attack, but I do see a bunch of morons reacting irrationally and physically. Lord knows there have been enough ignorant sentiments expressed verbally already...
I pray I'm wrong, that my newborn cynicism is incorrect, that the violence bred by ignorance and racsim will in some way cease...
