I was at the CIA a couple years ago on a class trip, just after the embassy bombings and our responses, after we found out it was bin Laden behind it. In the gift shop (yeah, there's a gift shop, don't ask) I remember there was a t-shirt that read, in something like big Times New Roman typeface -

I would guess that we're likely going to make good on this promise pretty soon. Dubya sounded like he had some conviction there tonight, and his remark about how he won't differentiate between terrorists and those who harbor them sounded like a pretty clear declaration of war to me.
I don't think this is going to be like the Persian Gulf. I'm afraid, terribly afraid, that this one isn't going to be a "video game."
My thoughts and prayers go out to the people in New York and DC and the areas surrounding, and I hope everyone at VA and on this board is safe tonight.
Vincent, I hope your friend's uncle is okay. One of my uncle's associates is a NYC fireman, and no one has heard from him all day. I hope you and his family are doing all right.
