I just wanted to thank you guys for hanging out here most of the day and trying to help prevent fights from happening and putting people in their places, as well as to help them come together to understand this tragedy, or at least help them deal with it. I have avoided posting here lately because of the nightmarish posts that have been going on, but today has been helpful. I have been avoiding the TV for awhile now because I have been to upset. I just wonder what in the world I would say to my son (who is 2) if he was old enough to be frightened by this. He isn't of course, he is just excited to see fire trucks on TV. But his innocence is what is so scary and upsetting to me about this whole thing. These people were going about there business on a seemingly normal day. And lives are changed forever. The New York landscape is changed forever. I visited NY for the first time this summer and missed out on going to the WTC, my husband went and I chose to hang out at the hotel and take a nap. I am sorry now. My heart goes out to the families of all the victims and of anyone who had to witness this horrible, horrible event. I am really glad I have you guys to come to and hang out with on a day like this. It is helping me stay sane. I really appreciate this board!
