I have to admit in light of tuesday i was terrified. I wasnt sure if or when the horror would stop. Seeing the icons of captialism just fall down sent shivers up my spine. But not that seeing part of NYC fall down sent a cold sense of fear all over my body. I use to live about 2 hours from the city when i lived on the jersey shore. I remember seeing the black smoke of the first WTC attack in 93. I was scared then but im horrified now. Shit like this just doesnt happen to America. Untill the 11th anyway. Folks i dont know if ill ever get that image of the plane smashing into the building out of my head, and honestly i dont know if i want it to leave. But something has to be done. Sure as Americans we mess up and we seem proud and arrogant to many others. But we earned that right. Through constant struggle and rebellion and patriotism we earned the right to stand tall. Its the basis of the American society,rebellion and standing up for what is right. This attack was not right nor justified..it was plain out murder on a grand scale. A Muslim kid told me that their religion is based on peace and passiveness. The attackers say they were following Muslim beliefs but i doubt that...they were swamped in the darkside...(star wars refference yes). A darkside that can only be deafeted for it is wrong and good will always triumph.
