Best friend & I went to see "J&SB Strike Back" in Philly while we were up there seeing Russell Crowe's band 30 Odd Foot of Grunts. (She's from Atlanta, I live in NC.) Were probably the only 40-something broads at that particular screening. TFF! As films I like "Dogma" (and now "Chasing Amy") better, but "J&SBSB" was a hell of a lark. Will definitely re-view a time or two.

Have sorta come late to the table: "Dogma" was the first KS film I went to see, though I'd been meaning to check out Kevin's films since I first read a review of "Clerks." Took me awhile to find "Clerks" in a local video store (I live in a prissy little backwater that's viciously Republican & holier than everyone) and never did find "Mallrats." Enjoyed "Clerks" thoroughly. "Chasing Amy" may be the best one yet, though "Dogma" is pretty close. Both of them made me cry as well as laugh, and I am here to tell you I think I'm seriously in love with Silent Bob. ;-)

Thanks for the laughs & food for thought. Not enough films out here that engage on more than a superficial level.
