The best way to learn is to lurk for a while. I've probably read a thousand posts for every post of mine. And some of the regulars may come off as a little hostile, but that is the way most people are when a new person invades their "turf". I wouldn't sweat it. Also, I hope you've read the summaries. If you haven't, they will probably triple your current Kevin Smith knowledge.
